Mitzie Wilson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Business Administration. She moved to New York City, where she received her master’s degree in Real Estate with an emphasis in Investment and Development at New York University. With education from top universities, Mitzie gained extensive experience in management, business, banking, quality service, sales, cash management, commercial real estate, and investment. She has been associated with such companies as Wells Fargo Bank, Chase, and M & T Bank. Her career led her from New York to Las Vegas to Phoenix to Atlanta. Mitzie is a Vice President Wealth Advisor at Farther and values their innovative and visionary wealth management services coupled with proactive technology.
Mitzie has her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designation (SE-AWMA®), as well as the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation (RICP®).
Mitzie currently resides in the active and culturally alive city of Atlanta with its vibrant lifestyle, particularly in business, sports, and social engagement. Community service and involvement have always been important throughout her career, including her volunteerism with Junior Achievement, New York City’s Metropolitan Transit Advisory Board, The National Kidney Foundation of New York and New Jersey, and the Las Vegas Planning Commission, Sunrise Manor. She is also a member of the Buckhead Church in Atlanta.
In her spare time, Mitzie loves solving jigsaw puzzles, enjoys listening to music, and plays backgammon, bid whist, bridge, pinochle, and racquetball. Mitzie is a lifetime Steelers fan and an avid traveler. Her favorite places are Bermuda, Costa Rica, and Monte Carlo.
